Recommended Visitor Attractions

Falmouth

If you like some relaxing options or are coming with children and want something to do on a rainy day, why not visit Star Glazers at Falmouth High Street – www.starglazers.co.uk

The National Maritime Museum is also a recommended visit – nmmc.co.uk

When visiting, you can also choose to stay for lunch, coffee, afternoon tea, drinks or dinner on the Events Square outside the Museum which hosts many restaurants, The Shed, The Shack, The Ranch, Rick Steins, Lemon Twist, Zizi and Pizza Express!

St Ives

A trip to St Ives is always highly recommended! You can drive and park and visit the town via the shuttle bus for about £2 or why not drive to St Erth and grab the train in which will take about 10 mins, taking in some beautiful views on the way

If visiting St Ives, there are some lovely restaurants, the Fish and Chips on the front is amazing and don’t forget to walk out to the end of the pier where more often than not you will see the local seals!

Also, if making a day of it at St Ives, the beach is lovely – just be careful if eating outside as the seagulls will take your food from your hand!

Another lovely place to eat next to St Ives beach is the award winning Porthminster Beach Café

Local Produce Markets

  • Falmouth’s Farmers Market can be found on The Moor, Falmouth every Tuesday.
  • Truro’s Farmers Market can be found on Lemon Square (just outside M&S) every Saturday morning.
