Slice of Cornwall
Literally a 2 min drive, left from Rural Retreat: This is more of a café style but their breakfasts, lunch and sweet treats are amazing!
Gyllyngvase Beach
Wonderfully positioned on Falmouth’s famous Gyllyngvase Beach, overlooked by the imposing Pendennis Castle and central to panoramic views of the Lizard Peninsula and The Helford River, Gylly Café is a unique, stylish and popular eatery.

Good Shopping Town/Centre
Falmouth is a lovely shopping centre, not full of chain store shops but where you will find some individual retail outlets created by local people.
We have to recommend Cream Cornwall, Art Galleries, Willow and Stone, The Cornish Store, Joules and SeaSalt! But you will find so many more that we know you will not be disappointed, but your purse may be rather empty at the end of the day!!
Café wise you will find The Cavendish Coffee House, Costa, Neuro and plenty of smaller coffee and tea shops.
For lunch choices and evenings you will find a choice of worldwide cuisine from Thai, Indian, Chinese, African, Greek, Nepalese, Mediterranean and street food!
