Literally a 2 min drive, left from Rural Retreat: This is more of a café style but their breakfasts, lunch and sweet treats are amazing!

Gyllyngvase Beach

Wonderfully positioned on Falmouth’s famous Gyllyngvase Beach, overlooked by the imposing Pendennis Castle and central to panoramic views of the Lizard Peninsula and The Helford River, Gylly Café is a unique, stylish and popular eatery.

Family-run and award-winning, our café offers a warm welcome, outstanding service and locally sourced food, served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

These are a few of our favourites but can say Falmouth is well known for its array of restaurants, hotels and pubs that all serve award winning, fresh, locally sourced food – why not jump in the car, drive out and take a look to see what takes your fancy!

Local Newspaper Shop

Constantine Stores – turn left at end of driveway and head for Constantine. Otherwise, Asda, Sainsbury or Falmouth town centre.

Good Shopping Town/Centre

This link will answer everything you need to know about Falmouth such as events, places to eat, shops, transport etc. www.falmouth.co.uk/travel-resources/falmouth-town-map

Falmouth is a lovely shopping centre, not full of chain store shops but where you will find some individual retail outlets created by local people.

We have to recommend Cream Cornwall, Art Galleries, Willow and Stone, The Cornish Store, Joules and SeaSalt! But you will find so many more that we know you will not be disappointed, but your purse may be rather empty at the end of the day!!

Café wise you will find The Cavendish Coffee House, Costa, Neuro and plenty of smaller coffee and tea shops.

For lunch choices and evenings you will find a choice of worldwide cuisine from Thai, Indian, Chinese, African, Greek, Nepalese, Mediterranean and street food!

Nearest Cash Point
